Personal suggestion from editor imla. After you have read as much of this as you can stand, you should stop by the New Editor forum to say hi. You might also want to introduce yourself in the forum for whichever category you've been accepted to (Arts, Business, Games etc.) This is a good way to find friendly folk who want to help you start your editing career well.
